Pakistan name 14-member squad for ICC Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy 2026
Pakistan have named a 14-member squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy 2026, according to a report published by the ICC. Wicket-keeper-batter Muneeba Ali will captain the side, having previously led Pakistan in four T20Is and an ODI.
Muneeba takes charge in the absence of Fatima Sana, who will be unavailable because of her commitments in her first season in Australia’s domestic Big Bash League. Ayesha Zafar has been named vice-captain.
The batting group includes Eman Naseer, Eyman Fatima, Sadaf Shamas, Saira Jabeen, Shawaal Zulfiqar and Gull Feroza. Feroza was named best wicket-keeper-batter at the recent National Women’s T20 Tournament in Pakistan, and provides another option behind the stumps.
Pakistan’s women’s side recently secured a bronze medal at the Asian Games. The ICC report gives the squad announcement amid that recent medal result.
