JituMatch

Methodology

Compare published cricket predictions, understand the consensus and follow each source’s record.

Methodology version 2.0.0 · 2026-10-17 · Scale: 1–10

01

Trace every pick

Every view links to its original page. We show when we first recorded it; a date on an article is not an exact timestamp.

02

Keep conditions intact

“Team bowling first” stays conditional. It is kept out of the count of picks for a named team.

03

Tracking history

Pre-match record frozen at the eligibility cutoff. Later edits cannot improve this record.

04

JituRank score

JituRank uses a 1–10 scale. At least 20 settled picks and an effective sample of 10 are required. A 20-pick prior shrinks performance toward its baseline. Recency has a 90-day half-life; a half-standard-error penalty tempers the score.

05

Data quality

Scores also account for the availability of contemporaneous odds. Without them, evidence confidence is halved. With at least 20 probability forecasts, binary Brier and Log Loss improvements contribute a small regularized adjustment. With 40 settled picks, disagreement between the two chronological halves adds a stability penalty.

06

Jitu weighted consensus

Weights use only results verified before the match cutoff. A provisional source has weight 1. Known mirrors share one vote.

07

Comparison

Without contemporaneous market odds, the comparison uses an equal-outcome baseline. This is an explicit approximation.

08

Source consensus

Share of independent source groups, not win probability.

09

Market estimate

Inverse odds from one complete bookmaker market, normalized proportionally to remove margin. This is an estimate, not a true probability.

10

Show the limits

Match coverage depends on available feeds. Fixtures, results and bookmaker quotes refresh on a schedule; forecasts retain their publisher and timing. We do not calculate our own win probabilities.

11

Data quality

We count the last eligible pick saved before kickoff once per publisher and match. Website and channel mirrors share one record. Conditional, value-only and conflicting picks, void matches and predictions first found after kickoff are excluded.

Source consensus / Jitu weighted consensus

Illustrative calculation, not a tracked match.

8 / 12 = 67% · (8 × 1) / (8 × 1 + 4 × 1.5) = 57%

Share of independent source groups, not win probability.

Support weighted by pre-match evidence in the same sport and market.
